obitoftheday: Obit of the Day: Oliver, The Therapy Dog At Krause Funeral Home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, those families that came to grieve the loss of a loved one had more than the comfort of family, friends and the staff at the home. They had Oliver. A Portugese water dog, the same breed owned by the Obamas, Oliver would be present at visitations and services upon request of the families. Fully trained and licensed by Pets Helping People, Oliver attended thousands of funerals in nearly ten years on the job.  Oliver was owned by Mark and Joan Krause.
